GENERAL INFORMATION
We believe that quality care begins with open communication. Our physicians and nurses are experienced in dealing with children and can explain treatment in a positive and pleasant manner. We also promise to speak candidly with you about our diagnosis and recommendations, any alternative treatments, and any symptoms present that may require further treatment.

Well-Child Visits
Our office follows the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendation for well-child checks. Well child check-ups are an important part of your child’s preventative care. The well-child care visit is an opportunity to raise general questions and concerns about your child’s development, behavior, and overall well-being. It is also used as a time to administer scheduled vaccinations and to check on your child’s growth. During these visits, our office may also order lab tests for anemia, lead, diabetes, and cholesterol, and also check your child’s hearing and vision. We recommend scheduling your child’s well-child visit at the following times:
- 1-2 weeks
- 2 months*
- 4 months*
- 6 months*
- 9 months
- 12 months*
- 15 months*
- 18 months*
- 2 years

- 5 years/Kindergarten*
- Every year afterwards
*Vaccinations scheduled at these visits.
Financial
We never want costs to stand in the way of quality treatment, which is why we are dedicated to providing our patients with care that is both effective and affordable. We will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. If you have any questions, please ask us! We will thoroughly explain our payment options and work hard to accommodate you.
Insurance
Our office staff will be glad to assist you with your insurance coverage!
At the first visit, please bring your current insurance card with you. If you change insurance companies or join another employer’s plan, please be sure to let our insurance department know. We will submit all insurance claims for your child’s treatment. We will fully attempt to help you receive full insurance benefits; however, you are personally responsible for your account, and we encourage you to contact us if your policy has not paid within a reasonable timeframe. If we are not contracted under your insurance, you will be given a copy of services and charges to file with your insurance claim form. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
